Plumber

As a Plumber in the UAE, you will execute high-quality plumbing work across various project sites, including high-rise buildings, luxury villas, and commercial complexes. You will work with a variety of materials, including PVC, PPR, and copper piping systems, ensuring all installations are leak-proof and compliant with UAE building codes.

You will be expected to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, diagnosing complex plumbing issues and providing efficient solutions. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, manage specialized tools, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Success in this position depends on your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to delivering durable results.

Key operational areas include:

• Installation and maintenance of pressurized water systems
• Drainage and sewage system configuration
• Installation of high-end sanitary ware and fixtures
• Testing and commissioning of plumbing networks

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Installation: Install, assemble, and connect pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and resolve plumbing malfunctions, including leaks, clogged drains, and broken pipes, using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Fixture Setup: Install and service water heaters, pumps, sinks, toilets, and other appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
• Blueprints & Layouts: Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials.
• Material Selection: Select the correct type and size of pipes and related materials (e.g., PPR, PEX, Copper) based on project requirements.
• System Testing: Conduct pressure tests on systems and pipelines to check for leaks and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

We are looking for seasoned professionals who meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a plumber in the construction or facilities management industry. Previous experience in the UAE or wider GCC region is highly preferred.
• Education/Certification: Valid Trade Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing from a recognized technical institution (e.g., NITA Grade 1 or 2).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in pipe fitting, soldering, and using various plumbing tools. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment as required by the nature of the work.
• Language Skills: Good command of spoken English is necessary to communicate with supervisors and follow safety instructions; basic Arabic is an advantage.
• Documentation: Must possess a valid passport and be ready to undergo the necessary medical examinations and background checks for UAE visa processing.
