Rider / Delivery Rider

As a Delivery Rider in Kuwait, your primary mission is to provide fast, efficient, and courteous delivery services across various city routes. You will be assigned a delivery motorcycle and will utilize GPS navigation and delivery apps to manage your daily routes. This role requires agility, a commitment to road safety, and the ability to handle multiple deliveries during peak hours.

You will interact daily with dispatchers, vendors (restaurants/retailers), and customers, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential. The ideal candidate is punctual, trustworthy, and capable of working independently while adhering strictly to Kuwait's traffic laws.

Key operational areas include:

• Efficient route planning and navigation using GPS technology
• Safe handling and transportation of food and fragile parcels
• Cash handling and digital payment verification
• Basic motorcycle maintenance and safety checks

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Order Fulfillment: Pick up orders from designated vendor locations (restaurants, warehouses, or retail stores) and deliver them promptly to customers' addresses.
• Navigation & Timeliness: Utilize GPS and company-provided delivery applications to find the fastest and safest routes, ensuring delivery times are met consistently.
• Customer Service: Greet customers politely upon delivery, confirm order accuracy, and handle any immediate customer inquiries or issues professionally.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and regulations in Kuwait. Ensure the provided motorcycle is driven safely and responsibly at all times.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-ride inspections on the motorcycle (checking tires, brakes, oil, and fuel) and report any mechanical issues to the fleet supervisor immediately.
• Transaction Management: Accurately process Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions and verify digital payments when required, ensuring all funds are properly accounted for at the end of the shift.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Previous experience as a delivery rider, courier, or in a similar logistics role is highly preferred. Experience working in the GCC region is a strong advantage.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Motorcycle Driving License (Kenyan license with international permit or a valid GCC/Kuwait motorcycle license).
• Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using smartphones, GPS navigation systems (like Google Maps), and delivery management applications.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to endure riding in varying weather conditions, including the hot summer months typical of the region.
• Language Skills: Good command of spoken English is required; basic knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage for navigating and communicating with local customers.
• Documentation: Must have a valid passport and be prepared to undergo the necessary medical and background checks for Kuwaiti visa processing.
