Caregiver

As a Caregiver in the UAE, you will provide personalized care either in a private residential setting or within a specialized care facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of your clients, adapting your care approach to meet their specific medical and emotional needs. This role requires high emotional intelligence, as you will serve as a vital link between the client, their family, and their medical team.

You will be expected to assist with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs), manage medication schedules, and provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean and therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate must be observant, capable of identifying subtle changes in a client's health, and professional in handling sensitive information. This position demands patience, resilience, and a deep sense of ethics, ensuring that every client is treated with the utmost respect and compassion.

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with daily personal hygiene routines, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
• Mobility Support: Help clients move safely around their environment, assisting with transfers from bed to wheelchair and encouraging prescribed physical exercises or walks.
• Health Monitoring: Monitor and record vital signs (such as pulse, temperature, and blood pressure) and report any significant changes in physical or mental condition to family members or healthcare supervisors.
• Medication Assistance: Administer or remind clients to take their medications according to prescribed schedules and dosages, maintaining accurate logs.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on the client’s dietary requirements or restrictions, and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Environment Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including changing bed linens, laundry, and ensuring the client’s immediate living area is tidy and hazard-free.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in social activities, conversation, and hobbies to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.

We are looking for dedicated caregivers who meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience as a caregiver, nursing assistant, or home health aide. Experience in elderly care or specialized disability support is highly valued.
• Education/Certification: Valid Certificate or Diploma in Caregiving, Nursing, or a related healthcare field (e.g., Red Cross Certification or NITA Grade tests).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in basic first aid and CPR. Ability to use medical monitoring equipment and follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional empathy, patience, and a calm demeanor under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and their families.
• Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and capable of assisting with patient lifting and transfers, and standing for extended periods.
• Language Skills: Good command of spoken English is essential for communicating with clients and medical staff; knowledge of basic Arabic is a significant advantage.
• Documentation: Must possess a valid passport and be ready to undergo comprehensive medical and background checks for UAE visa clearance.
