Job Description
As a Factory Helper in the UAE, you will play a foundational role in the daily operations of a large-scale production plant. You will assist machine operators, handle raw materials, and prepare finished products for packaging and dispatch. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in active environments and are committed to maintaining high levels of efficiency and safety.
You will work under the guidance of floor supervisors and senior technicians, learning the fundamentals of industrial safety and production workflows. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow precise instructions, and a commitment to meeting daily production targets in a multicultural team setting.
Key operational areas include:
- Assisting in assembly line operations
- Material handling and inventory movement
- Basic quality control inspections
- Industrial safety and workplace hygiene compliance
Responsibilities
Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Production Support: Assist machine operators and technicians by supplying raw materials and removing finished products from the production line.
- Loading & Unloading: Manually move, load, and unload materials, supplies, and finished goods using trolleys or pallets as required.
- Packing & Labelling: Carefully pack finished products into crates or boxes and apply accurate labels according to shipment specifications.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Clean work areas, machinery, and equipment daily to maintain a safe and hygienic production environment.
- Quality Check: Perform basic visual inspections of products to identify and report any obvious defects to the supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all factory safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of a High School Certificate (KCSE or equivalent).
- Experience: Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or construction environment is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: Must be in excellent physical health with the strength and stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 20kg).
- Attitude: A positive, "can-do" attitude with a willingness to learn new tasks and work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
- Language Skills: Basic command of spoken and written English is required to understand safety signs and follow supervisor instructions.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid passport and be ready to undergo a comprehensive medical examination and background check for UAE visa processing.
